The largest event recognising and celebrating excellence in the Wills and Probate Sector, the sixth annual British Wills and Probate Awards Ceremony, was hosted in Manchester on 11th October and Squiggle Consult were recognised for their charitable work.

The awards are increasingly recognised as a badge of honour for practitioners who must demonstrate adherence to carefully selected category criteria. Each submission is scrutinised by a panel of expert judges drawn from across the legal services spectrum who independently score the entry. With a record number of entries competition was fierce with Squiggle Consult coming out top in the prestigious Community and Charity Champions category.

Commenting on their win, Squiggle’s Managing Director Kieran Osborne (centre of picture) said “When Squiggle began, the community trusted us as a new company to provide what they wanted and what was important to them. It’s become a natural part of Squiggle to reciprocate this as much as we possibly can

Kieran, who started Squiggle Consult in 2017 continued “It’s commonly known within the industry but maybe not publicly that less than 50% of over 40’s actually have a will in place. Many state this is down to simply “not getting round to it”. We sit people down, talk with them, find out what’s important and then reality hits that it is something they really need to get in place. With this being a national issue, Squiggle is looking to recruit right across the country for the right consultants to have these conversations with those that haven’t “got round to it” yet."

Caroline Hallett from the Caldecott Foundation, a charity providing therapeutic care and education for disadvantaged and vulnerable children commented on social media “We are exceptionally grateful to Kieran personally and Squiggle as a company for being part of our charity’s community. You have donated time and money, we are grateful for both. Congratulations on your well-earned award”
