TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. GENERAL

1.1 These terms and conditions ("Terms") set out the agreement between you, the subscriber ("you", "your"), and Squiggle Consult LTD trading as LegacyGuard ("we", "us", "our").

1.2 By subscribing to our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not proceed with the subscription.


2. SUBSCRIPTION MODEL

2.1 We offer a subscription model for LegacyGuard, either on a monthly or annual basis. The cost is £4 per month, or £40 per year.

2.2 The subscription fee will be charged in advance and is non-refundable. We reserve the right to change the subscription fee at any time, but changes will not affect existing subscribers until the renewal of their subscription.

2.3 Your subscription period is 12 months for annual payments, and one month for monthly payments. The subscription will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period, unless you cancel your subscription by emailing or writing to us before the end of the current subscription period.


3. SERVICES

3.1 Your subscription includes:

- Unlimited updates to Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), including guidance to trustees associated with Lifetime Trusts. It does not include updates or amendments to the Lifetime Trust deed itself.

- Unlimited physical storage of documents.

- Access to our LegacyGuard Vault.

- 30-minute legal helpline, available during our regular business hours.

3.2 The updates to Wills and LPAs do not cover any third-party disbursements. It also does not include upgrades to improved planning.

3.3 Physical storage does not include insurance for loss or damage.

3.4 The LegacyGuard Vault is our proprietary digital storage and executor notification service. Further terms and conditions relating to LegacyGuard Vault can be found within that service.

3.5 The 30-minute legal helpline is provided on a fair usage basis and we reserve the right to limit your use of this service if we deem your usage to be excessive. This service is provided by a third-party solicitor or barrister. Squiggle Consult LTD is not responsible for the advice given during these calls.


4. LIABILITY

4.1 We will provide the services with reasonable skill and care, but we make no other promises or warranties about the service.

4.2 Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this agreement is strictly limited to the total subscription fees paid by you in the current subscription period.

4.3 We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.


5. TERMINATION

5.1 You can cancel your subscription at any time by emailing or writing to us. If you cancel your subscription before the end of your current paid up period, your cancellation will take effect immediately and you will not be refunded.

5.2 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription at any time, for any reason. If we terminate your subscription without cause, we will refund a pro-rata amount of your subscription fee.


6. MISCELLANEOUS

6.1 These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue in effect.

6.2 We may change these Terms at any time by posting a new version on our website. Please check the website regularly to view the most current Terms.
